She is a director for the BC Women in Tradeswomen Society, part of the BC Women in Trades Leaders in Training program, a coach with the CAF-FCA leadership development program, and a speaker with the WORBE Program. She comes from technical web development & design background and holds a degree in Leadership from Mount Royal University. Her past endeavours (ranging from permaculture to firefighting) have helped to motivate her to create a space for those seeking mentorship, and leadership where they can be supported and seen. As a leader she’s learned these are keys that foster great success.

She as well volunteers as a mentor with BC Tradeswomen Society Camps and facilitates the trades portion in the Empower Girl's Conference for Surrey School District.
